6 Feb 2005: This section is now updated with pictures of the crane I built, and some of the objects it has been able to lift.

Here the Crane is just managing to hold up the JCB, which weighs 837 grams!

Here I pumped up the pneumatics to give a sturdier support to the lifting arm. I discovered that you can only pump them up so far, before it simply cannot take anymore pressure, and it leaves out of the valve at the top of the compressor pump. I did not pursue the matter too much incase I broke the pump,
