The Breeze - Women only
cycle sessions
Wirral Council is supporting an
intiative to get more
local women back onto their bikes for fun and fitness.
Breeze bike rides, which started in West Kirby in January 2012, are an easy way
for women to take up the activity again accompanied by other people in
the same position.
The rides are challenging, but do-able, and avoid traffic
wherever possible. And there is always be a stop at a local café
en-route to recharge the batteries and have a chat with other cyclists.
The Breeze sessions are being co-ordinated in Wirral by Fiona Hanik, the
Council’s Active Families Development Officer, and she is supported by a
small team of Breeze champions to help her develop the scheme.
If you are interested and haven’t
got a bike or would like some training – we can help put you in touch
with bike hire and support.

Manager and
Coach Simon Crabtree has brought together a team of Premier League

school playground, and church hall!
We play in
New Ferry Park on Tuesdays 5.00pm till 7.30pm (two separate teams);
Wednesdays 5.30pm till 6.30pm (two separate teams); and Sundays 12.30pm
till 5.00pm (October to March only).
We need
players for our under 14's.
We need a

We also have
teams for under 10's, under 9's, and under 8's.
