NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

Tring's Crime Prevention Panel, working in conjunction with the residents of Tring, has established over 181 Neighbourhood Watch areas in Tring and District covering 4155 households.  Each Watch area relates to a specific region of Tring and District, although the number of households in each one varies. Each scheme has its own co-ordinator who lives within the geographical area and is responsible for passing on crime prevention information to their members.

Tring Crime Prevention Panel itself has nine regional co-ordinators who distribute the newsletter in their particular area. They can act as the point of contact for the heads of the individual Watches and their members.

Tring & District Crime Prevention Newsletter

Tring's Crime Prevention Panel produces a quarterly newsletter to ensure that members of the Watch schemes are kept up to date. The newsletter carries local crime prevention news, details of future events, information on national initiatives and a quarterly crime report from the Community Police Sergeant. A copy of the most recent issue of the newsletter can be found on this website.

Annual Co-ordinators’ Meeting

Every year the Tring Crime Prevention Panel organises an annual co-ordinators’ meeting which is attended by the Tring Community Police Team.  This meeting is designed to allow members of the Neighbourhood Watch schemes to discuss crime prevention issues and to raise any concerns they have.
