Special Thanks/Dedicated to...

I only wish the course was to the level that it would truly honor these excellent researchers, and fine people! (The course was written in my spare time, i.e. after midnight and on weekends). I have been a co-author on papers with each of these wonderful people and great scientists.

• Dr. C. Weldon Jones - My professor, mentor and friend. He taught at Bethel College in the Department of Biological Sciences.  He taught me learning is the most important part of research.  He is also the person who taught me all I know about Cell Biology (back in 1987, so don't blame him for any errors, it is probably just my memory is going..).
• Dr. Perry Hackett - While I was working at the University of Minnesota as part of the Graduate Studies in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Genetics part of the College of Biological Sciences I also did some work for Dr. Perry Hackett.  Another great researcher and a good man.  To have fun and work (with or without funding).  The joy of working in a interesting area, even in the middle of politics.
• Dr. Bianca Conti-Fine - While I was working at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Biochemistry part of the College of Biological Sciences I also did some work for Dr. Bianca Conti-Fine.  Excellent research and a inspiration.  That you can be the best in your field, work endless hours, and still have a life.
