Here at Tractatus Training we understand the modern business
environment, we understand the needs of individuals to function well,
effectively and build on their own skills.
Some of us develop skills for our particular job and
may well develop a range of skills over many years. However, what
would it be like to be taught some of the key psychological skills of effective
working and living?
Tractatus Training was founded with just that idea in
mind. We have taken a serious look at the workplace and how well
people deal with situations, interpersonal communication skills and the
life/work balance. Working with the latest psychological techniques,
we have developed the Life Skills Programme, a group of training courses
perfectly suited to the business environment.
Our Training Programme consists of 4 key elements:
All of these training courses are based on practical
learning that can be taken straight from the training room into real
life. Each one is a stand-alone interactive workshop and we
start at one of the most important places,
The Life / Work balance.
This workshop is for everyone, how to balance the stresses and strains
of work and life. We feel this is a much overlooked subject and yet so
essential to each individual and to their overall effectiveness. What
are the key ways to stay calm, relaxed and confident in all
situations? What can you do to stay in your best state of mind all
the time? This one-day course is captivating and packed with
information. With hands-on exercises and demonstrations you'll be amazed
by your own abilities. A course manual designed to provide many
extra exercises to complement your learning and a CD, accompany the
course.
Developing your Listening Skills.
A
two-day practical workshop that forms the foundation for effective communication. This training features some of the latest ideas on
communication contained in the NLP model and other areas of
psychology. Lots of practical exercises and demonstrations allow you
to test out new ways to listen as well as new ways to hear
someone. This workshop provides a basis for all effective communication and
how we can use this fundamental knowledge effectively. The course has
an accompanying manual with many extra exercises to complement your
learning.
Interpersonal Awareness.
The aim of this two-day training is to actively demonstrate how to
refine your skills at interpersonal communications. How to know what
to say and how to use your intuition to full effect. The material
contained in this training continues to expand on communications
theory developed in the Developing your Listening Skills course. This
is a fast moving workshop, in which you
will start to learn just how much there really is to good communication.
This stage of training really focuses on many of the processes that
are going on in a communication and how to read these and use them to
best effect.
Advanced Communication.
This three-day course covers sophisticated communications skills and
as such should only be attended by persons who have already undertaken
the Developing your Listening Skills training and the Interpersonal
Awareness training. In fact the course content is so advanced that a
grounding in all of the above trainings would be helpful in fully
utilising this material. With this training when we say advanced we really
do mean advanced. How have key communicators in history used communication
so effectively? Through a series of practical exercises you will learn
some of the most elegant processes for communicating to individuals or
groups. How to make sure your ideas get across and get accepted. Over
the 3 days you will have many practice sessions to try out the language
ideas and communication methods. This is essential as the
understanding is really in the doing. We present detailed communications
theories in this workshop but with a bias towards how you can develop
theses skills and use them as fast as possible.
If you like me want to develop and use the best
techniques currently available in psychology this training is
essential. Contact us now for dates and further information of our
next workshops.

Personal Development Forum
