I came to this (rather obvious) conclusion after
me and a friend were sat having a pint while doing a pub quiz, although there are other things that that I have heard or seen that have contributed to me feeling this strongly about it.
Anyway, one of the questions was :-
What did Dr (I forget the name, I was drunk) state was sexist and racist?
The answer was snowmen! That' right SNOWMEN.
This person is a doctor, getting paid a LOT of money and all they can do is think up total crap.
For example, does a five year old child who builds a snowman (for snowmen are made for kids) have any concept of what racism or sexism is? I doubt it, even if they have been taught to say stuff by their parents they won't know what it means (yet).
Others thing like certain universeties not having courses in history, calling it some like 'studies of the past' I bet, because it begins with HIS and therefore must be sexist. WHAT FUCKING BOLLOCKS. Taking this to it's logical extreme, it would mean that I would not live near MANsfield, but PERSONsfield and people from MANchester would live in PERSONchester.
This has to stop. We can't let these people take our languages, our cultures (whatever race, colour, ethnical background) and distort them so that we can't say what we want without worring about wether or not we can say it. They are taking away our right to freedom of speech and getting paid for it by our taxes.
As a final note I would like to say that I DO NOT support in anyway, racism or sexism and anyone who does is a twat that should be sterilised so they can't breed.
