NEW MEMBERS

New members are always welcome and the Band are particularly interested in hearing from Bassoon players. 

There is no audition to join, just turn up one Tuesday evening and have a blow. See Rehearsals for further details. 

The Band's membership comprises people of all ages and from all walks of life. Some members have been with the band since its formation in 1984 but new players are joining all the time. Some have come along to the band having taken up their instrument again after a break of several years, and although arrive feeling rather "rusty" they soon get back into the swing of things!

The band also has an active social side with an annual dinner, ten-pin bowling nights, picnics, etc. Not forgetting the odd drink or two down the pub after rehearsals on a Tuesday!
