A new type of ministry is happening right now which might just be right for you !!
We've called it Soul Cafe because that's what it is.

What’s it all about?
Soul Café is a new, relaxed, ‘café’ style meeting for everyone to join in.
You are warmly invited by your church - the new Parish of All Souls, North Warwickshire (incorporating Austrey, Warton, Newton Regis, Seckington and Shuttington/Alvecote)
Why is it happening?
There are many people in our community who would love to join in some way with the Church community but are hesitant about coming into the formal atmosphere of Church. Others may be curious or searching for meaning in their lives, or want their children to experience the positive influence of Christian values. Our aim is to meet new people in an informal way.
What will it be like?
It is a relaxed way for people to be able to join in with songs, watch a drama, have a chat, eat doughnuts and drink coffee/tea/juice/hot chocolate, hear fun stories, enjoy the puppets, take part in craft activities and also to offer an opportunity to hear about Jesus and how He can be real in our lives today.
Who should come?
It will be really suited to families, particularly those with primary aged school children and their parents, although everyone (old and young alike) is welcome.
When and where will it take place?
The first meeting will be held in September 2007 and then monthly from then on. Meetings will be in our village schools, starting with Warton this term.
Update:
At AUSTREY SCHOOL the dates are:
Sunday – January 20th
Sunday – February 17th
Sunday – March 16th
The dates for next term at Newton Regis School are:
Sunday – April 13th
Sunday – May 11th
Sunday – June 8th
All our meetings open their doors at 10 am for a drink and a chat before we start at 10.30am and we are finished by 11.30am. Just to remind you that Soul café is aimed at families and whilst particularly suitable for primary school aged children, people of all ages (teens to the more mature adult!) come and really enjoy the experience.
How's it going so far??
Soul Café got off to a wonderful start at the end of September. We were delighted to see so many new faces come and join us at Warton School. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, allowing time to do the craft activities, to chat and enjoy the refreshments

We had lots of fun making our vegetable monsters as you can see above. The puppets were great fun and were enjoyed by all.

The comments from people who came were all lovely and we are now working on making the successive Soul Café’s even more fun. We will be using the puppets again and of course, there will be lots of music to add to the atmosphere. MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE SOUL CAFÉ POSSIBLE
