About Us

 

Hello my name is Araxy and my partner is Brian and we breed kittens on a very small scale. We live in Bournemouth in Dorset and as teachers have found it both therapeutic and calming to have cats in our home. We only have two litters a year and our babies are very indulged.

Ragnarkatt came into being in 1996 when we decide to breed cats ourselves after many years of cat ownership.

Our very first queen was Quinta Volsung who we call Jessie. She is absolutely adorable and a real character. She has produced many beautiful babies, all who have had excellent temperaments and have been LARGE.

Jessie has now been neutered at the age of 7 and weighs in at 14lbs a hefty female but still very loving and still in charge.

Our Forest cat girls are Poppy and, her daughter Mystic who will hopefully have her first litter next year. Sky, our Burmese girl, is a very effusive character and at the present time our only breeding Burmese queen.

All our cats live indoors with us but have access to an outside run and fresh air. They are our pets and spend much time curled up next to us and sleeping on our bed, especially when it’s cold.
