Hi there

This web site was originally created for the members of the Austin Cycling Association.  I e-mailed them to ask if I could join them on their Cotton Capers  club run on 28 October 2000 and thought it would be nice to show them something of my normal cycling.  

The site has grown dramatically since then to record other trips before & since - but is still a simple way of showing friends what I get up to.

I was in Austin on business for a few days, had a Saturday free (so I could get the cheap flights).  I e-mailed to ask if I could join there run and, if so, where I could hire a bike.  The guys were fantastic.  A bike was found, I was collected from my hotel and looked after royally.  

What a great way to meet nice people in a strange town.
