TreatmentsReiki is an invisible subtle energy which stimulates the body to use its own natural healing processes. It is simple and non-invasive. It can be used on babies, children and adults. A first appointment with Janine usually lasts around one hour, allowing time to take important medical details and to tailor the treatment to the individual. The person being treated sits or lies fully clothed, and the practitioner places her hands on or near the body . The recipient will experience a feeling of calm, and may feel warmth, cold or a tingling sensation as the healing progresses. Reiki is currently being used in GP surgeries, hospices, cancer support groups, post-operative recovery, drug rehabilitation, prisons, HIV/AIDS centres and in the care of the elderly.
Treatment RatesAdults –Initial consultation and treatment (1½ hours) = £35Follow-up Appointment (¾ hour) = £30Children – Initial consultation and Treatment (1 hour) = £25Follow-up Appointment hour (¾ hour) = £20N.B. 24 hours notice is required for the cancellation of an appointment otherwise the full fee is chargeable If you would like to give someone else a chance to sample a Reiki treatment, gift tokens are now available to the value of £5, £10 and £15.
