The Ring...

The Ring is the name of the Home Ground of Redhill and Old Cousldon Cricket Club.

How to get there...

he Ring is off the beaten track, and is easily missed by the unwary! Surrounded on all sides by whats left of Earlswood Common, it is found at the bottom of an access road just off Chruch Road in St John's, to the south of Redhill, just of the A23.

There is parking by the clubhouse, under the shade of the trees.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse is shown on the map. As The Ring is part of public parkland, the area can be prone to visits from bored local teenagers. As such, our clubhouse may not look as aesthetically pleasing as those at some of our Surrey and Sussex neighbours due to some of its 'security features', but you can be sure your welcome will be just as warmly extended inside. There are bar and toilet facilities for spectators, with seating available inside and out.

A bit of history

Cricket, as well as a few other sports have been played at The Ring for over 100 years. Local legend dictates that the name of the ground comes from the area being a site for boxing matches in years gone by.
