Famous the land over for his block-slog-miss style of batting, Dan plays cricket with his heart on his sleeve. Never one to play for a draw regardless of the match situation, Dan just likes to hit the ball – hard. His bat, which has recently been repaired with black tape applied in such a way as to give it the impression he has simply dipped it in Dulux, is often seen wafting around outside off-stump seemingly keeping the midges at bay. However when he does connect he inevitably gets a screaming boundary, much to the delight of his old man Dave. In the field Dan has a safe pair of hands taking a number of good catches recently. He is also a tidy bowler when used, getting good pace and accuracy.
