The
raiders were amazing but unfortunately we lost. In the fist 10 minutes we
went two goals down. But in about 15 minutes into the game SM got taken down
and had too come of then i came on.
but then JK found himself with some space on the
left hand side and he buried it with his left foot. Then we were 2-1 down.
About 5 minutes after that a goal kick from NT bounced through the
defenders i had a 1 on 1 i took it around the keeper and then shot with my
left foot it went passed a defender the on the line SB got a touch that
put the score 2-2. After that from another goal kick from NT i got the ball
then got taken out. CC scored an amazing free kick. half time ended 3-2
up. In the second half from a corner kick NM was on the line and the
ball came to him then he kicked it into our own net that made it 3-3. Then
another corner came in then JK headed it off the line but the ref gave it a
goal that put us 4-3 down. PA took a corner kick and it went onto the hand
of one of the other players and the ref gave it a penalty. WM took it the
penalty but the keeper saved it. We on the attack and attack but just
couldn't find the back of the net. The game ended 4-3.

The
match on Sunday was an evenly sided match but we had the edge on them. The
first goal was put past us in the first 20 minutes and then another one we
kept our heads up and SB pulled one back before half time to make it 2 , 1
at half time. we went into the second half within in a couple of minutes
they scored to make it 3 , 1. we kept our heads up and putting the pressure
on and eventually DG scored to make it 3 , 2. The defense made some crucial
tackles to keep us in the game and in the 30th minute LH scored to make it 3
, 3 we thought it was all over and so did the other team the match dragged
on to the 32nd minute and the defense took there guard down and LH came back
and made a crucial tackle to keep out one goal and then they got another
goal to make it 4 , 3 we had so many chances we just couldn't finish them
yet again and lost 4 , 3 we where the better team but couldn't score.

It was an
outstanding game in which the raiders gave it their all. Unfortunately we
got off to a slow start and conceded within 10 minutes we fought back and JC
nicely slotted the ball past their helpless keeper. Then we struck again
through PA who broke through the defence to finish a lovely move set up from
a goal kick by NT. We went into half-time with a nice 2-1 lead and our heads
held high.
Sadly in the
second-half we sat back a bit too much and conceded 4 consecutive goals one
of which from our own player through lack of communication from a corner. We
kept fighting back but we lost 5-2, it was a cracking game between 2 well
matched teams but our losing streak of 4 games continues even though we
deserved the win.

I think the Raiders worked their socks off in this game to
turn what was a fair sided game into a demolition. The whole team joined
together to win everything in the air and on the ground especially RA. The
Raiders were prepared to take no prisoners because within a couple of
minutes LH tucked our first goal into the bottom corner. This was followed
up by a JK classic from the edge of the area into the far top-hand corner.
Which was followed up by TC first goal for the raiders which was a chip over
the keeper! The fourth goal before the half-time whistle was another
brilliant LH goal after amazing footwork by JK
Unfortunately there were no jaffa cakes at half-time but
despite this the team continued to hold their form keeping the opposition at
bay! '_'
The Raiders continued
to play a great game attacking all the time our defence were fantastic not
letting Welwyn Pegasus anywhere near our goal. Before we knew it SB had a
cracking shot which was saved by their keeper, rebounded and followed up by
TC to score our fifth. What a result which ended our losing streak in the
league!

From the start Raiders
were on top and thoroughly deserved to win the game, as the whole team
played well and together. Unfortunately Harpenden scored first by tucking
home a curling right sided cross. But Raiders equalised when the Harpenden
keeper spilled a shot, which JC neatly put in. But again Harpenden took the
lead from another right-sided cross. Then Raiders equalised, when JC latched
onto a through ball. And just before half-time, when LH’s superb over head
kick hit the back of the net, Raiders took the lead 3-2.
With the score only at
3-2, and Raiders now attacking up hill, the pressure was going to be on them
in the second half. But when JC’s deflected shot went in to make it 4-2, the
Raiders had breathing space. Later on to round it off, JK went on an amazing
run and crossed the ball to JC, who cooley tucked it home, to make the
Raiders tally 5, and his personal tally 4. Raiders played out the rest of
the game with little-to-none fuss, as the defence and midfield were
consistant and well organised. It finished Harpenden Colts Eagles 2 PBC
Raiders 5.

In the first half we conceded 2 goals.
The first one was from a low corner and Bury rangers where the first to
react and they got a goal. Between the two goals we played quite well.
Following an attack we cleared the ball but nobody closed down the Bury
striker and the shot went in just below the crossbar.
At half time we didn’t change
goalkeepers because David was ill
In the second half we where all over
Bury rangers with a lot of possession and strikes at goal but we failed to
score any of them. Eventually we conceded another goal.

This was a must win game for the
Raiders. It was against Comet Rangers who were bottom of the league. The
Raiders started of strong and battling for every ball. We scored our first
goal when SB popped a shot from the edge of the area which the keeper
spilled and LH scored. We had a few opportunities but unfortunately none of
them went in the goal. We had all the possession in the half but somehow the
first half ended 1-0.
The second half kicked off by Comet
Rangers and we won the ball quickly. This half we were uphill. Our second
goal finally came when DG played a ball through to PA who struck the ball
into the back of the net. It was a great team build up that led to the goal.
Our third goal was comfortably popped in by JC. The fourth and final goal
was scored by JK which was his 8th goal of the season.
The raiders deserved this win and
battled it out till the last whistle. It was a clean sheet for NT who
deserved it.

The weather was very
poor, it was raining and there was a strong wind which was behind us in the
first half. William on the left wing and Jamie on the right, both had some
good runs. With the wind on our side in the first half we could attack with
ease and had lots of chances. We hit the post 1 or 2 times but we still
managed to get a goal by TC from a cross by JK. After that the ball hardly
got into our half and we kept on pressing forward. At half time the wind
started getting stronger and we didn’t change goalies.
The wind was so
strong it was hard to run against it and the ball kept being blown off
course. Their goal came from a corner, someone headed the ball and the wind
blew it into the goal! Even with the wind, hailstones and mud we had many
chances. We still managed to do some really good passes. Running with the
ball was so hard that by the time we had done a small run it seemed like a
marathon. I think it was our best performance this season even though it
was a draw. I think we should have won the match.

I think that the
Raiders played their best especially as we only had 11 players. It took us a
little while to warm up. The first goal was put past us in the first 5
minutes and then another one shortly after. NM injured himself and stayed
off for the rest of the half so we only had 10 players. We started to make
some threatening attacks across the box.. SB made a great run up the wing
and passed to LH who crossed the ball in and JR got on the end of it and
tapped it into the right corner. Unfortunately between then and half time
Royal Rangers scored two more goals.
At half time there
were no changes as we didn’t have anyone to bring on! But we did bring NM
back on in defence.
We played excellent
for the start of the second half. Royal Rangers were the first to score in
the second half. It was almost the end of the match when SB broke past their
defence and blasted the ball into the right hand side of the goal.
I thought the Raiders
played excellent football as we only had 11 men.

The raiders battled strongly although losing 5-0 it was a great effort
from us but unfortunately on this occasion we were no match for ware
youth. The first goal was an unlucky one to concede as they drilled the
ball across the goal it went straight in. The second wasn't`t good for as
we stood off and a player dribbled through the box unchallenged to slot
the ball into the net just before half time.
In the second half we wanted the ball more and battled strongly but
unfortunately we conceded a further 3 goals the last leaving us with no
chance as the ball was cleverly lobbed over the keeper. It was a good game
for the raiders but we couldn't`t get the 3 points.

The match started and in the first ten
minutes we were closing down the ball and winning most of the tackles. As
the game progressed we were passing a lot more, and there were some great
runs from SB and JK. We created some good chances, one of them was from JR
which was cleared by the defender and the other was with NA which hit the
crossbar.
Half time
As we kicked off for the second half
we had some great shots from NA which was covered by the keeper. Just
before we conceded the goal, RA went in for a tackle but their player
stood on RA's ankle, but the ref said play on !!!
The ball managed to get into are goal
area ,TC tried to clear it but Bury won the ball and hit it in the goal.
When we conceded the goal, crusaders
head's dropped till the final whistle.
