The Raiders looked very organized and had
possession of the ball all the way through the first half. They had several
goal scoring opportunities but could not find the final ball apart from a
spill from their keeper that LH slotted. The 1st Half finished 0 - 1
The Raiders continue with the pressure through the 2nd Half
and JC found an extra yard in front of goal and lobbed the keeper which SB
made sure finished in the back of the net.
The match finished 0 - 2

The Raiders were the better team in both
halves and created loads of goalscoring opportunities but could not find the
final ball. NM put the Raiders ahead when he attacked a corner floated in by
JT 15min into the game. Bury then equalized on 25min with both teams
finishing the first half level (1 - 1). Bury came out strong at the
beginning of the 2nd half and caught the Raiders sleeping and scored 2mins
from their kick off. The Raiders woke up and took the game to them with LH
finding space at the far post to level the game. The Raiders looked destined
to take 3 points when LH shot slipped through Bury's keepers hand to put the
Raiders ahead. Then against the run of play in the dying minutes of the game
Bury found space behind the Raiders defense and equalized. The game
eventually finished 3 - 3.

The
weather and pitch conditions were terrible but the Raider played the most
outstanding game they have ever played, passing the ball around and keeping
the opposition under pressure from the beginning to the end. JC opened his
goal scoring account with two goals in the 1st half which were scored
through some excellent team work. DG topped it off with another goal in the
1st half giving the Raiders a 3 - 0 lead at half time. The 2nd half saw lots
more goal scoring opportunities for the Raiders especially on the debut of
their new signing JK but as the conditions worsened the ball kept getting
stuck in the mud. Then in the dying minutes of the match SB skillfully
threaded the ball into the net from the right goal line to give the Raiders
a comfortable win of 4 - 0.

The Raiders were the better team in the
first half but found they were easily pushed off the ball by the strong
Enfield Colts Orange players. Their first shot on target didn't arrive until
10mins into the game. It looked as though the Raiders were going to score
from a superbly struck free kick from AB which unfortunately found the
keepers hands. The 1st Half finished 0 - 0. The 2nd Half showed a more
determined and stronger Raider Team who put alot more pressure on the
Enfield Colts defense and eventually DG found space on the far post and
scored in the 45 minute to put the Raiders ahead. They continued with the
pressure and after a goalmouth scramble JK scored his first goal for the
Raiders on 50mins. 2 minutes later JK received a through ball to score his
2nd which he calmly slotted into the far post. The Game finished 0 - 3

AB
The Raiders found themselves having to
battle hard against Cuffley Youth Staggs and from the kick off seemed to
take 10mins to settle into the passing game we're used to. They looked
certain to concede on 12mins when Cuffley's Right Wing beat the defense and
lobbed NT as he closed him down but the game was kept level due to NM
sprinting back and clearing the ball off the line. This seemed to wake the
Raiders up and SB made one of his trademark runs down the right wing on
14mins all the way to the goal line and pulled a cross back across the box
to JK who put the Raiders ahead. The Raiders were then awarded their 2nd
Free Kick in front of goal, which were both sweetly struck by AB but this
time it was attacked by JC who put the Raiders ahead 2 - 0 in the 1st Half.
Cuffley seemed to be a different team in the 2nd Half with
the Raiders finding themselves on the back foot too often and the centre
backs being out paced several times. The inevitable goal from Cuffley came
on 42mins when their striker found a couple of yards behind the defense and
slotted the ball passed the approaching DJ who couldn't get down quick enough
to get a touch on it. The Raiders battled on and had several opportunities
to put the game to bed, which looked definite when JC received the ball in
the 6 yard box in front of an open net but unfortunately spooned it over the
cross bar (bet he couldn't do that again). The game was finally over on
60mins when JC lobbed the ball over Cuffley's defense and JK sprinted
through and scored.

finished 3 -1

The Raiders took time to settle against St
Mary's in the first half and did not create many goal scoring opportunities
against their strong defense. The first half finished 0 - 0.
The Game seemed to open up more in the 2nd half and when LH
found himself on the end of a 2nd played corner cross from CC, he attacked
the ball with his head to put the Raiders ahead 1 - 0. The Raiders had
several more 1/2 chances but could not find the finish. St. Mary's were
given a gift on 40mins when their striker found himself with lots of space
from NT's goal kick and without any pressure struck the ball at NT which
unfortunately rolled into the net, to level the game. This seemed to wake
the Raiders up and as they turned the pressure up St Mary's defense and goal
keeper had to work their socks off. It looked like SM was set to score when
he deflected a CC corner into the goal but St Mary's keeper managed to keep
it out. Them on 50mins LH again found himself on the end of a cross but this
time from JK who had motored passed St Mary's left back and with LH bicycle
kick the Raiders scored the winning goal. The darker side of the game was
shown when St Mary's linesmen got booked but the overall spirit of the
players on the pitch easily over shadowed this.
The game finished 2 - 1.

This game was the biggest upset for the
Raiders who had not lost a game in the league until now. The Raiders were
very slow to start and conceded 2 goals in under 10 minutes which seemed to
be due to them under estimating their opponents. The game changed when JK &
LH striking partnership was introduced on 20 minutes and JK scored when he
lobbed the keeper with in a minute of being on the pitch. The Raiders were
then awarded a free kick on 27mins which CC struck into the goal to level
the score going into the 2nd Half.
The
Raiders again sat back at the beginning of the 2nd Half and when
Panathinaikos Striker ran havoc in the penalty area, without a challenge he
struck the ball into the net putting Panathinaikos ahead 2 - 3 which was the
final goal in the match. The Raiders should have walked away with at least a
draw but with the untold attempts on goal they were either given offside or
left the shot too late.

The Raiders overall performance in the game
was brilliant dominating possession in both halves and creating untold goal
scoring opportunities but the finish seems to be alluding them. The only
goal of the game was a controversial penalty awarded for a ball to hand
incident 6mins into the 2nd half.

The Raiders had to pull out all the stops
to get a result against Enfield Colts team of 10. The Raiders kept
possession well but after a goalkeeper blunder by DJ on 8mins, when the ball
rolled through his legs, the Raiders found themselves 0 - 1 down. Both teams
battled hard all the way up to half time but the Raiders could not find a
chink in Enfield Colts determined defense. The Raiders kept the pressure on
in the second half and finally when SB found himself unmarked in the front
of goal on 36mins was able to equalize. The Raiders were awarded a penalty
on 40mins when LH was brought down in the area. DG struck the penalty well
but Enfield Colts keeper managed to get a hand to it. The Raiders looked set
to concede when confusion set in with NM & CC allowing Enfields striker to
get through unchallenged but NT closed him down quickly to stop him
shooting. The Raiders were awarded a corner on 48mins and JK got his head to
a nicely taken corner from JT to score the winning goal.
The Game finished 2 - 1

The Raiders found themselves under a lot of
pressure in the first half having to play at the bottom of the hill with a
strong wind in their faces and conceded 3 goals but there was a touch of
hope when LH scored when he attacked a free kick. 1st Half finished 3 - 1
The Raiders took the game to Cuffley in the 2nd half and
loaded their striking force by switching to a 3 - 4 - 3 formation but
unfortunately conceded again when Cuffley broke on 45mins. The Raiders
stepped up a gear and continually attacked cuffley's goal with DG lobbing
the keeper on 48mins and LH scoring his 2nd on 56mins. Unfortunately the
game seemed to be one of near misses for the Raiders who could not finish
their chances and the game eventually finished 4 - 3.

The Raiders started strong against Minchenden
holding possession well but had a bit of trouble with their fast No. 25 at
the back. The Raiders were awarded a penalty on 17mins which SM nervously
struck straight at the keeper. The Raiders kept their chins up and increased
the attack which eventually resulted in a goal when Minchenden's keeper
spilled the ball from a shot from JK into the path of DG, which he calmly
placed in the back of the net. The next goal came 9mins later (29mins) when
the Raiders were awarded a free kick that LH got onto the end of. The 1st
Half finished 2 - 0.
The Raiders found
themselves under a bit more pressure in the 2nd Half and due to NT excellent
goal keeping the Raiders maintained the 2 goal cushion. Again the Raiders
had lots of scoring opportunities but failed to finish. Then on 27mins SB
went on one of his trademark runs up the left wing beating Minchenden's
defense and calmly shot the ball into the goal to put the raiders ahead 3 -
0, which was the final score.

The game started with the Raiders dominating
possession in Midfield and feeding ball after ball through to the Strikers
but they couldn't finish their chances. This continued for 20mins until the
substitutions and the Saints seemed to get more of a holding in Midfield and
then against the run of play with some panic in defense and a goalkeeping
howler, scored to put the Raiders 0 - 1 down at halftime.
The goal lead seemed to lift the Saints in the 2nd Half but
the Raiders stood up to the challenge and eventually SB ricocheted a 2nd
ball off the Saints Goalkeeper to level the game. The Saints goalkeeper then
shone for the rest of the game making save after save from the Raiders
attacking onslaught until JK scored the winning goal for the Raiders.
