Potters Bar Crusaders Raiders
- About the Team
Potters Bar Crusader Raiders is one of many
teams that are affiliated to Potters Bar Crusaders Sports and Social Club. This
website is just regarding the team that this year 2008/9 are playing in the
Mid Herts Rural Minor
League in the under 13 age group.
The team was established in January 2004 with
the players that unfortunately hadn't been
selected for the 1st Team. Due to the late establishing of the full team,
they missed the opportunity to enter the under 8's league and gain some
match experience prior to last season. They entered the under 9's league in
September 2004 and after some bad results in the early sorting matches, were
placed in Division 1. They had a mixed season as the players gained confidence
and finished 5th.

The Raiders have now completed all league games winning every one.
Their Final game against Wodson Park City saw the Raiders winning 1 - 8.
The Raiders continue their winning form by beating Wodson Park City 10
- 0 to take their tally to 15 played - 15 won
The Raiders secured the League Championship by beating Broxbourne
Saints 5 - 3
The Raiders take a nearer step towards winning the League after
beating Bengeo Tigers Bengals 3 - 1.
H is back training and ready to play in the Raiders
next League Game.
The Raiders were knocked out of the League Shield
by Royal Rangers after being beaten 4 - 0
The Raiders start the New Year league game as they finished last year
by beating Bury Rangers Black 1 - 4. They have now gained maximum points
from 8 games.
The Raiders have unfortunately lost 'H' for the next 6 - 8 weeks due
to a broken foot. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
