3. Main Race Screen

Follow the instructions of things to be done by the OD or the Box (you the recorder)

Box/buttons that are able to do something will have BOLD labels. Some buttons may only become active after certain other things have been done

• Check that the event is correct
• You can start creating an entry list. You should be able to select boats from the list but there may be some that are not there and they will have to be entered as visitors.
• When the Course can been decided and is about to be put up click the "Sound Course up Button"

You will now have to wait 10 minutes before the "Start this Race" button becomes active

DO NOT TRY DOING THINGS WHILST THE TIMER IS RUNNING AS THING WILL MAKE THE TIME INACCURATE.

During this time you can be creating the entry list from your observations of which boats are on the shore.

Press the "Start this Race" button when the OD is ready

The message in the Race Status box will change,

and, the information in the "Time for Fleet to start" will change as the starting cycle is gone through.

You are now into the Starting sequence.

Nearly at the end of the sequence

Starts are complete so you should be keeping track of where the different boats are when they have completed laps.
