Water tower.
A small water tower hidden away in the back roads of Northamptonshire
Walking round the tower.
The lower part of the ladder up the side of the tower has been removed. So views from the top are out.
Entry is via the open door.
Looking left you can see the main inlet valve, it's piping and inlet sampling point. A small set of steps let the smaller of us reach the main valve. The main valve is about 7 foot up the wall. Looking up the pipe's entering the tank above.
Looking right to see the work board, the outlet pipe, the outlet sampling point.
By the looks of the water gauge, the tank is now emtey. The visitors book is not there.
Looking up at the centre of the tower
About 0.5 miles down the road to this small hut. This maybe the pump room for the tower.
