Intersport was one of the high class paid membership type of sports centre

I'm not talking about you local gym with cracked flooring here.

I never visited when it was open but back in the days when I was taxi driving I did drop persons off here and well lets just say there was money about. Anyway where was I ?

They opened a new building across the road from the old site and left the old building to go to the dogs.

 The building was smashed up, burnt ect but was still standing. Home owners around the  site call for the building to be pulled down, and it was in late 2006.

The site still stands empty as of late 2007 and is wanted for houses.
