My name is Myra Krantz and I work in the Palmetto University library's copy shop in Palmetto Pines, Florida (three hours south of Disney World). I've been a fan of the show ever since it first aired two years ago and I tape ASTS every day! You can see it Monday to Friday on the Mutual Television Network. Wow! I mean wow! I mean WOW! What a wedding!! It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen on a soap.... so much more romantic than any on Search For Love, even more romantic than Luke and Laura's and the Valentine's day wedding of Jenny and Greg on All My Children...
I was so happy to see Adrianne in her gorgeous wedding dress -- Marylis did a super job. With all the ruffles Adrianne looked like a fairy princess. When she and Emile traded vows I burst into tears and so did the three other people watching in the student cafeteria. The Catering ladies looked up from the grill it was so beautiful.
I had a feeling that something would happen to ruin the ceremony it was so gorgeous. I don't mean all the looks that Marylis gave Wystan and Joelyn glaring back. Or Kitten and Jarvis trying to rush with the gun, it was so obvious it was a starter pistol, Jarvis should know better him being a doctor and all. Sonia got them outside pretty quickly- it looked like she was expecting them to pull something. No, I mean the kiss between Adrianne and Emile was so perfect, I knew when they stopped something would go wrong. Sure enough, the door slammed and everybody turned around and there was Felicity, dripping wet with her hair all tangled!
Emile nearly fainted he was so scared! I really felt for him. His face was indescribable as he realized the lady who had run to the wedding through the rain was Felicity.
So where has Felicity been all these years that Emile and everyone thought she was dead? How did she get out of the car after it ran into the river that stormy night? How come Emile got out but couldn't find Felicity? Jarvis wants answers! I do too. I was mad at Jarvis for pulling out that starter pistol and trying to hit Emile but I was glad to see Jarvis looking so happy to see his sister again after thinking she was dead.
I just wish Dax waited until after the wedding to tell Tamara that he saw her kissing Perry on the CCTV camera. He was so mean to tell her they were though before it -- poor Tamara could hardly keep from crying during the ceremony although she was happy that Marylis' dresses were such a hit. Even Nicola thought so. Though she wouldn't tell Joelyn that of course. She said instead she could hardly wait to slip into Joelyn's bridesmaids dress for the reception -- and Joelyn was so mad because of Felicity that no one got to see her designer dresses. I think that's like being mad cause you didn't get to eat the wedding cake after all. Joeyln really ought to feel for Felicity and Emile and Adrianne. Poor Adrianne, she was crying so hard and Bryon had to help her because Jarvis forced Emile to start helping Felicity get her memory back.
I hope River figures out soon that Randolph killed Corale. River misses Corale so much. I never liked Randolph. He is too swarmy. I don't trust smarmy people, they always have tricks up their sleeve. Like Mr. Moore who used to work at the circulation desk until Mr. Bergman the chief librarian caught him trying to sneak out Playboy magazines from the current periodicals rack.
Gosh, what another week on ASTS! It's so sad that Adrianne and Emile found out that they are not legally married. Emile is really trying to help Felicity remember where she has been for the three years she's been dead. I started crying again when he told Adrianne he would do what ever it takes so they can get married. I don't care if I was the only one crying in the cafeteria. And Jarvis is still mad cause he can see that Felicity still loves Emile even if she can't remember much about him and that night their car crashed into the river...
And then Kyle and Elise get arrested in Mexico, just as they are holding the little girl that they want to take home! Poor Elise! I really felt her joy as she was holding the baby and then the pain on her face when the police snatched it away.
I know Elise and Kyle were trying to adopt illegally, but I don't think it's fair. Elise wants a baby so much and anyone can see that she would give the little girl a wonderful home and life...
I wish Tamara would see sense and drop Perry! He is such a creep! I don't know why Nicola wants to be with him! I asked the lady who fries the hamburgers why women on ASTS always go for bad men, and she said, "It's just like life, all men are bad." I don't think River is bad, or Kyle.
The secret is out! And Wystan now knows the truth. He knew that Byron is really Carlos' son, not Wystan's. Now he knows the whole truth. The truth about Chaznay selling the information in disguise so Wystan would divorce Joelyn.
Wystan was so angry when he was yelling at Chaznay he looked funny! She almost looked scared. But I know that Chaznay wouldn't lose her cool. I laughed when Wystan screamed at Chaznay that he knew who she was all along! Yeah, right! I'm sure Chaznay will convince him not to go through another court date.
The cafeteria was really busy this week since the students are getting here for start of the fall semester. There were about twenty in the cafeteria on Friday and I was the only one upset at Elise and Kyle being in that filthy Mexican jail. I just hope Tyler can get them out of there.
Poor Emile and Adrianne. I believe too that true love will always find a way no matter what. If I loved somebody as much as Adrianne loves Emile I would believe him too and trust in his love no matter what my sister told me. I don't have a sister but I can see that Nicole is jealous. Especially with Perry kissing Tamarra - why can't he leave her alone now they are long split up? She said she hated him anyway.
My new supervisor Mrs. Mufson is making me come back from lunch right on time now so that means I have to miss the last three minutes of the show! I have to watch it again at home to make sure I don't miss anything important! Thanks to Mrs. Mufson I nearly missed Elise sighing on Wednesday after Kyle made her swear that she will forget about the idea of an illegal adoption. So if I didn't see her sighing I would have believed her 100%. Like Kyle. I don't think Elise will give up the idea of a baby even after them being deported back to Crown Heights and Tyler saying that if it wasn't for him they'd be locked up for good.
I'm glad that Marious is trying to help Emile and Adrianne by helping Felicity. Marious is so gorgeous! If he wasn't a monk.... :)
I think Esperanza is a big stinker. I mean, first she didn't want to get married to Byron straight away and now she does just because Byron is helping Adrianne.
Byron is nice and Adrianne is lucky to have him for a friend. Esperanza isn't so nice, even if she always is trying to dig out the truth for the Crown Chronicle. Like me!
What a show on Friday! I'm glad that Corale's body has finally been found but what a shock that it was at the ground breaking ceremony for Joelyn's new offices. It was funny to see Joelyn fainting! I think River is going to find the killer before Dax starts his investigation - I hope so! Marious has been very busy this week between helping Emile and Adrianne and Felicity and River and all the people at the ceremony... he handles it so well, he's so nice!
Big crisis. Now that all the students are here some of them don't want to watch ASTS in the cafeteria, some of them wanted the Young and the Restless and some of them wanted All My Children. We ASTS fans won -- thanks to me sticking up both hands! I don't think anyone will want to watch those awful shows any more cause this week was spectacular! I was cheering when River got Randolph! It looked like a really close call on Wednesday when Randolph pushed River over the railings of the power station but I'm so glad River swung back up on Thursday and then knocked Randolph into the broken cable! I never liked Randolph. I never trust people who are too nice. They are usually hiding something aren't they? That's what I learned from Randolph ;) I'm glad he's gone cause he was so mean. He was very silly to deal with the mob and he got what he deserved.
I feel sad for Elise that she heard from the adoption agency that they will never consider her and Kyle as parents. I guess people will say that Elise got what she deserved too but I can understand her wanting something so bad and really she was only trying to help the baby by giving her a new life with everything. I'm so glad Marious is helping her.
And what about Sloane trying out that spell to make Ramond sleep with her? I saw some of the boys looking right down her halter top, it was hard not to. One yelled that she was a slut as she took her robe off. Yes, she wants Ramond bad but she is not being honest and love means being honest, just like Adrianne says... I know Chaznay is fighting the divorce and Wystan has a good reason for being mad at her but she does say that she loved him.
So Perry chose Nicola. Well, I'm happy for Nicola but I don't know what she sees in him.

A SONG TO SING HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
Yes, you read that right - MT network announced today that the show is CANCELLED due to low ratings. They say that Search For Love got high numbers so they are sparing it for another six months but ASTS will end at the end of the year- - the last show will be aired on December 31.
This is an OUTRAGE!! A Song to Sing has had wonderful plots and great characters: yes, maybe the recent shows have been a little slow but with Randolph's death and Emile and Adrianne's wedding the pace has picked up and ASTS has featured nothing but fantastic stories for this sweeps period! Who can ever forget Adrianne's face when Felicity turned up just as she was kissing Emile and Marious was pronouncing them man and wife? And Elise crying over the baby in Mexico or Felicity discovering that she still loves Emile?
We must start a campaign to Save ASTS. I am going to start a petition to show the support of all the ASTS fans. E mail me! Put your name down! It's OUR soap and they can't take it away from us!!
I have three signatures already for the Save Our Song letter: Jimmy the cleaner at work and the lady cashier at the student cafeteria. She says Song is much better than any of the soaps, even One Life to Live and she promised that while she was working she wouldn't let anybody watch anything at 1:00 except Song!

Everybody's plotting this week, even Sloane. Yes, she was sad at Randolph's funeral but there she was taking advantage of Ramond again! He's being so nice to her because she lost her dad (big loss) and he's all confused now about his feelings, he has always been a good friend to Sloane but now he thinks she's more than a friend. Don't trust her, Ramond! He should realize that his love for Morgan is true and not tell her about him sleeping with Sloane.
And Florida won't give up dreaming of Troy and now she is scheming to steal him away from Cressida again. Silly girl... she should realize too that Cressida and Troy are made for each other. And people who are made for each other can never be really separated. Love conquers all!
So Dax might get together with Tamara again. I don't know why he wants her. She still is making eyes at Perry even if he did choose Nicola.
Remember to send in your signatures for the Save our Song campaign! I have seven names now. I went round my complex and I got two of my nieghbours to sign up. They say they like soaps... I'm glad I talked to Mrs. Moody in 7-B. She says she's still mad that they got rid of The Edge of Night cause that was her favorite and even though she watches The Young and the Restless, Guiding Light and As the World Turns now it's not the same. She says they're so bad sometimes she's tempted to change the channel to channel 6 and watch the Gilligan's Island reruns but she's seen them all since they first came out.
I hope that doesn't happen with ASTS! I don't want to have to watch All My Children cause my Mom used to watch it when I was in high school and I hated it because Erica the big star can't act and they must pay all the men loads of money to kiss her cause she's so ugly! Who does she think she's kidding with all her wrinkles which she still has even though she got her eyes done! I'm so glad that Joelyn and Marylis and Sonia are graceful ladies and don't run around in mini skirts with their veiny knees sticking out like Erica! Yuucchhhh! And everyone knows that Cricket only got on the Young and the Restless cause her father's the producer!
ASTS is so much better and it's been really great this week! Talk about terrific storytelling! My mouth was hitting the floor when Raeleen told Elise and Kyle that her daughter Annabel is Kyle's! Poor Elise, how she screamed! I still can't believe it! With all her problems and now Kyle's been a father all along!
I don' t know though... I don't trust Raeleen and I agree with Elise that they should get a paternity test. We'll see what that says...
Congratulations to Chaznay ( I guess) since the smart lawyer she got proved that the pre nup is invalid and they're going to appeal that she should get half of Wystan's assets. So she won't have to go back to being a secretary after all.
I feel sorry for Carlos with Florida blackmailing him about him really being the father of Byron and Carlos giving in to protect Morgan. I guess if I loved someone as much as he loves his daughter I would do anything to protect her innocence.
I now have 11 signatures for the petition to Save Our Song! I walked around town on Saturday asking people which was a little scary but I would do anything for ASTS - just like the show says, you should be happy to do anything for the one you love! Remember to send in your signatures!
What is Esperanza doing getting so jealous of Adrianne and Byron? Why was she so mad when Byron held Adrianne and said he'd always be there for her?
Was Esperanza there for Byron? She was not. She didn't want to get married so soon.
But the person I'm really mad at is Sloane - staging her fainting act so Morgan would walk in on Ramond holding her up! Right in the middle of the cafe! The scene between Morgan and Ramond was so sad, him crying and her crying and screaming and throwing the necklace he gave her at him. Poor Ramond he loves Morgan so much... and there was Sloane hardly able to hold her smirk back!
I have 16 signatures now - I wrote my Cousin Eleanor's name for her cause she said it was okay when I called her. Please send in your signatures to me at my email -- It's our soap! Tell Mutual how much you want the show to go on!
Big problems at the cafeteria. The students all wanted The Young and the Restless cause some blonde has stolen some square jawed husband from his ditzy wife and they've only been married 5 minutes. I kept yelling about Cricket being on the show because of her father but nobody listened. So me and the cashier lady have to put up with Y and R now. I am going to trade lunch hours with Mrs. Mufson so I don't have to put up with Cricket and the rest of the idiots.
I think it's better for me to watch at home anyway. With the tape I don't miss anything cause I can hit rewind and I can zap through all the commercials. And I don't have people looking at me during a really sad scene. I started crying when Morgan told Ramond that she never wants to see him again. Poor Ramond loves her so much and he doesn't know why he slept with Sloane. Those guys were right -- Sloane is a dog.
And at home I can yell all I want at Esperanza. Now she's hitting the roof because Byron isn't sure about moving up the wedding when Adrianne needs him. Esperanza is so spoiled! And Dax asking Tamara to marry him again -- how stupid can he be? Yes, he made Tamara promise that she will never see Perry again but you know Tamara will be meeting him in the alley behind Rules again pretty soon - anyone would know from all the flashbacks Tamara is having of Perry's kiss that was caught on the CCTV tape.
And the paternity test may have proved that Kyle is Annabel's father but I still wouldn't trust Raeleen as far as I could throw her. Poor Elise how she screamed and screamed and only Marious could get her to stop. Marious could calm anyone down but not for long :)
I have 21 signatures now! I got out my old high school yearbook and called some people up. And not all the people who agreed to sign were in my classes! That just shows you the amount of support ASTS has...
I have sent off my letter to Mutual with all 22 signatures -- and I wrote at the bottom as well as on the top how great the show is and how much the fans love it and it should keep going forever!
Don't stop sending in your signatures! Keep sending in your letters to keep ASTS going!! We have to keep the pressure up!
With all the time I am spending collecting signatures and sending off the petition it's going to be hard for me to report all the news. So I will concentrate on the highlight of the week.
The highlight of the week was definitely Byron. The poor guy, he's been getting so much flak from Esperanza just because he's trying to help Adrianne as a friend. He is there for Adrianne when she needs support and Esperanza all of a sudden wants to go through with the wedding, and she wants the wedding yesterday. What's the word for someone who doesn't mean what she says? Because that is Esperanza. And on top of that Byron has now learned that he is not Wystan's son like he thought all his life but Carlos' son! The look on Byron's face when Florida cornered him in the club and made him listen to how Joyeln and Carlos had an affair! And just because Carlos is now broke and can't pay Florida any more hush money!!!
Well, that had me on the edge of my sofa and I am really worried now about all the fallout... How is Morgan going to react now, especially after she's broken up with Ramond? And what is Byron going to say when he finds Joeyln? Especially when he finds her together with Carlos.
What suspense! It just shows everyone how good ASTS is!
I am waiting to hear from Mutual. Keep sending in your signatures! We should keep sending in petitions to show them how many fans ASTS has!
It's hard to pick the highlight of the week... I thought on Monday it was going to be Byron confronting Carlos, and Carlos begging him not to tell Morgan that Carlos is Bryon's father. I don't see what the big deal is, why Byron was so upset to realize that Morgan is his half sister. I mean, he's not dating her or anything. But I can see how much Morgan would flip out to know that her father's infidelity has given her a brother as well as a sister.
But by Wednesday it was clear that the highlight of the week is Elise. Poor thing, she can't deal with the stress that she can't get pregnant even with all her IVF treatments and she can't adopt now because of the illegal Mexican baby she tried to take home and now her husband is the father of a six year old! I would be upset too. I wondered what she doing on Thursday buying a blonde wig at that boutique. And I yelled on Friday when she walked into Rules in the middle of that night and started talking to that creepy guy.
I kept yelling at her not to go in the parking lot with him. Oh my god, what would Kyle say if he knew? But he was at Raeleen's motel room trying to find some kind of relationship with Annabel and wondering how he is going to make his daughter a part of his life.
Elise is going to ruin her life!! Even if she doesn't get pregnant! Can't she see how foolish she is being, to risk everything by doing something so stupid And why did she tell that guy her name is Thersea, that's not going to hide her mistake...
I got a email back from Mutual. "Thanks very much for your letter " it says, "We appreciate your sending us your feedback about our Mutual family of programs."
Do they? I read in Soap Opera Digest at Winn Dixie that ASTS is still going to end in December and the producers are sending in their resumes to other companies instead of concentrating on the show!
Don't let this happen! Don't let a great show die! SEND IN YOUR SIGNATURES! We can't let the show down now! We've got to send in another petition that really shows Mutual how much ASTS is loved!!!
And the show is so great right now I don't know what to pick as the highlight! I could say Sloane the nogoodnik overhearing Byron talking to Esperanza at Rules, asking Esperanza not to tell anybody that his father is really Carlos -- and Sloane didn't waste any time to run over to Morgan's bedroom to pound on the door and scream the truth at her. Morgan's pretty cut up and Carlos is after Sloane's blood! I don't blame him! Carlos was so mad to hear that Sloane slept with his daughter's boyfriend!
And I guess some people would choose Kitten going down to Rules and meeting that guy who looks just like Kyle. Their dance to "Fast Love" was something else. They didn't waste much time getting back to her place. Kitten is becoming just like Sloane!
But I have to choose the meeting between "Teresa" and Marious. He was only doing his job trying to tell everyone in that sleazy bar that he would help them by helping them find the Light and the Truth - and the look Teresa gave him would be enough to melt the icecubes in her rum and coke, just like the bartender said. Marious was trying so hard to tell her she was wrong, there really was pure love in the world. He doesn't know she's really Elise -- I hope he realizes it soon so he can tell Kyle what the pressure is doing to her!
I have another signature for the new petition from Mrs. Moody's grandson who was visiting her the other day. So send in your signatures! Let's put some heat under Mutual!
I thought it was so sad how Carlos is trying to help Morgan but she won't talk to him and Ramond is trying to help Morgan but she won't see him either. I'm so glad that when Sloane tried to tell Ramond how much she wanted to be there for him he wouldn't listen! All right Ramond!
But the highlight of the week has to be Kitten thinking she is having an affair with Kyle! I knew from the start it wasn't Kyle, how could Kitten be so stupid! Now we know from him talking to himself in the bedroom while she was taking a shower it's really Kyle's twin brother Graham, and he's a drug pusher, and he wants revenge!! Kyle better look out... he thinks he has problems now trying to keep the paper going although he was arrested in Mexico -- he has no idea his twin brother is in town and Elise is still tramping around in her blonde wig. I didn't like Marious' talk with "Teresa" this week. I hope Teresa isn't going to make him turn evil like Graham... If Marious went bad what hope is there?
It's been such a great week, so exciting I told Mrs. Mufson all about it. She still won't sign my petition though and she looked at me when I brought it into work on Monday. I was hoping to ask more students in when they come up to pay for their copies but I know if Mrs. Mufson caught me I'd be dead so fast. So I'm going to have to keep it at home for a while. Maybe she'll go on vacation soon.
We have our new petition now with another 17 signatures thanks to Mrs. Moody's Mah Jong club! That makes a total of 19! I am sending it off this week to Mutual!
Don't stop supporting the show now though -- keep telling them how we care! Remember, we are the FANS and Mutual makes the show for US! We should be the ones who decide whether it should go or not! The ratings don't show how much the fans love the show, so tell Mutual how much you want ASTS to keep going!
The highlight of the week is a tie. I really can't decide. No, I'm not going to pick the scene by the beach in the moonlight when Marious' goodness seemed to be getting through to Teresa. It did show all of Marious' concern for her to find her way back to the path and maybe he is reaching Elise and she's going to snap out of it soon. ( I sure hope so!) But the highlight has to be Florida getting shot and bleeding all over the sidewalks as she tried to find Troy and then her sitting up as the ambulance came pointing at everybody running out from Tamara's shower! I can't think who did it! Dax has kept Carlos for questioning but it looks like he's going to be asking Bryon and Morgan questions too. At the same time Quinton was so sick and Joelyn and Cressida and Troy rushed him to the emergency room and it turns out he has Red Factor syndrome and he needs a bone marrow transplant! I think Troy is the star of the week- he was so worried about the baby and you could see how when he was being nice and stayed by Florida while she died in Intensive Care he was still thinking of his poor baby! Oh, I hope they can save Quinton soon, Troy is so brave to volunteer to be the donor!
And with great drama like this Mutual wants to axe ASTS? No way!
I got another letter back from Mutual which says the same thing as the last one. It said in Soap Opera World that soon ASTS is going to shoot its last episode and they are going to be winding things up.
I am sending copies of the petitions to Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera World and Soap Stars to reach the other fans. Remember that SOD did that great article last February on why ASTS is worth watching...
The show can't die. It just can't. It has been giving such great storytelling since the start. I KNEW when I watched the first episode in the cafeteria ASTS was going to be a classic, I knew from the very first shot that showed Emile's house and poor Emile waking up, looking with tears in his eyes of the portrait of Felicity... I knew it was going to be a show filled with great romance and tragedy. It has given the fans such joy this year and a half... I wouldn't have got through our inspection week if it wasn't for Cressida being saved from that creep by the mysterious man with an eyepatch who turned out to be Troy and they swore true love despite her parents and no matter what. It's been really hard not being able to watch it at lunchtime anymore and my complex is too far away for me to go home for my breaks. I can hardly wait to get home and I keep worrying about how I would cope if my VCR broke down. The day we had a blackout and I missed the last five minutes of Carlos begging Morgan to forgive him I couldn't stand not knowing if she would or not! But luckily they repeated the episode after the 11 o'clock news. Good old WMTP. They listen when you call them.
ASTS is SO much better than the other soaps because it has real characters that you can believe in, that you feel are your friends, not silly named women still trying to squeeze themselves in sequined bikinis! You can REALLY care about ASTS's families and I do, I feel like they are my brothers and sisters and I can't stand to think of maybe losing them.
Just like Quinton. Okay. The highlight of the week is Troy saving the baby's life by donating his bone marrow. Cressida was so happy when the doctors told her Quniton is going to make it... but the monitor bleeped and all the nurses rushed in and the doctors said Troy is in a coma and Cressida screamed! Oh, I can't stand it, it's not fair, Troy did everything to save his son including snatching him away from Florida when she tried to kidnapped him, it was so clear how much Troy wanted to save Quinton Dax didn't bring him in for questioning. How can Dax even think Troy might shoot Florida, he was right by the baby's side the whole time begging the doctors to help him. If Troy doesn't come out of the coma there is no justice!
Just like there is no justice if ASTS has to end. SEND IN YOUR SIGNATURES!
The campaigning to Save Our Song hasn't stopped! I am writing directly to the president of Mutual again, both on paper and through the web site!
You should too! Write to the president of Mutual! Tell him why it's a fantastic soap and it should keep going, tell them why you love it!

The highlight of the week... no, not Sloane telling everyone how Ramond raped her, how disgusting and anyone with half a brain would know it isn't true... or half an eyeball to see those trashy halters Sloane keeps wearing. No, it has to be Graham kidnapping Kyle. If it wasn't enough for Graham to get Kitten hooked on his drugs now he has Kyle tied up in the cellar with duct tape over his mouth. I am so scared for Elise! I am even scared for Annabell cause she seemed to be bonding with her daddy. If Kyle really is her daddy -- I still don't believe a word Raeleen says test or no test.
Guess what I heard from Mr. Brent R. Pettigrew. "Thank you very much for taking an interest in the Mutual Network's programming." Thank you for taking an interest? We ASTS fans are more than interested! I sent Pettigrew 10 emails to tell him how great ASTS is and how much we all love it and why the show MUST keep going, why are they cancelling ASTS and still keeping Search for Love? The Mutual website says Search for Love is Mutual's flagship daytime drama. Search for Love flagship? It hasn't got one star that anyone knows! They are only calling it flagship because when Mutual started four years ago it was their ONLY daytime program!
They used to show reruns of Father Knows Best at 1 o'clock! And they scheduled Search at 2 because they knew any new soap would have a tough time going up against Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives and All My Children! ASTS has more than held its ratings since it started and it's built up a massive fanbase! IT'S NOT FAIR!
So email Mr. Brent R. Pettigrew and tell how ASTS has grown into a quality drama that could challenge ANY of their evening shows, including America's Worst Accidents and Traffic Court and the Nashville Family Variety Hour! Mutual could move ASTS to prime time, it would beat Dynasty and Knot's Landing five ways to Sunday!
This week has been full of the fantastic suspense and drama and love stories that is ASTS. It's hard to choose a highlight. I'm not going to pick Ramond being arrested. Maricela and Esperanza are standing by Ramond showing how strong their family is and I know Morgan will soon be standing by him too.
No, I'm going to pick Sonia thinking that "Kyle" is acting weird. She is putting that down to her worries about Tyler.
The last couple of weeks have kept up a high rate of action with Sloane's accusation and Ramond's upcoming trial and Dax trying to find out who shot Florida and Cressida trying to make Troy come out of his coma. It 's good to have something to make us laugh and I'm glad we have this situation where Sonia thinks after finding the bra and garter belt in Tyler's car that he's having an affair and she's racking her brain trying to think who with! She has no idea that Tyler is wearing the underwear when she's not home! I was so upset over Troy still being in the coma and Ramond being locked up it was a relief to see Tyler in his outfit! I cracked up while he looked at himself in Sonia's mirror and Sonia nearly caught him! I laughed at work thinking about it and Mrs. Mufson frowned at me.
Jimmy the cleaner says I should look out cause he heard from upstairs that they may start laying people off. I hope they lay Mrs. Mufson off cause it's been such a drag since she started here. I never did ask her if could switch lunch hours with her because she has been such a grouch she yells at me for practically nothing like laughing a little. I bet if I had another supervisor I could get away with bringing my portable to work and watching it underneath the till like I hear some secretarys do. That would be great.

ASTS is so full of wonderful characters, characters you can grow old with. ASTS is the type of show you start with when you're watching with your grandma and then after high school and then during your college breaks and then after work until you're retired, just like those "classics" like As the World Turns and Guiding Light. I know from watching The Bold and the Beautiful with my Grandma Pearl and watching Brooke grow from being a newly wed married girl to a divorcee and a businesswoman and a mom (Well, kind of watching Brooke grow, cause she can't act.) I want to watch Marious get out of his crisis with Teresa and build his parish. I want to share Cressida's and Troy's lifelong love. I want to watch Quinton grow up and start dating. I want to be able to look back one day at the flashbacks of the weddings and the births and feel along with Cressida and Troy as they look at their grandchildren and hear their special song. We should all have the chance to grow and live and love with ASTS. Tell Pettigrew why Mutual should continue the show, or maybe sell it to another network.
No contest, the highlight of the week is the hurricane! Hurricane Duncan has slammed everybody in Crown Heights, sweeping away even Sloane breaking down on the witness stand that she used a magic spell to make Ramond sleep with her so she actually raped him.
It was scary to see the winds pick up as everybody left the courthouse on Thursday and suddenly right before the credits they nearly blew the whole cast away! They barely had time to run home and then the tidal wave hit last thing on Friday!
I hope that Adrianne and Byron will live being trapped in the wine cellar at Rules, and Emile and Felicity weren't killed when his house collapsed in the wave, and Kyle lives tied up in his basement with the tape still over his mouth so he can't yell! I'm not going to be able to sleep until Monday! I hope to God that everyone will be all right!
I am writing to CBS and NBC and ABC and the President of the Fox network to tell them why they ought to pick up ASTS! Send them your letters and emails! The fans saved Baywatch -- we can too!
I could hardly stand being at work all day Monday - it's not fair that the students in the cafeteria won't even let me change channels during the commercials! I wanted to ask if I could leave early, but one look at Mrs. Mufson's face told me not to ask. She's really crabby now it's our busiest period with all the students copying books for finals and we are supposed to look out to make sure they're not breaking any copyright regulations.
So, I was really relieved when the bus FINALLY got me home I ran into my living room and watched the tape still in my work skirt and blouse! I was so relieved to see that Kyle made it although the water level was rising in the basement all through Monday and Tuesday! I'm so glad he managed to tip the chair he was tied to up the stairs so he was on the top step! It was lucky the water didn't rise any further! And he could pull the ropes off when they got soaked so he could swim! Too bad the window was unbreakable glass.
It was really touching too to see Felicity and Emile grow close as they were under the rubble of the house and the firemen dug them out. I'm not a big Felicity and Emile fan. But I know Emile is a real gentleman and he honors his committments.
And I cried while Cressida begged the nurses in the blackout not to give up on Troy and keep the life support machine going. She was so brave starting up the emergency generator all by herself.
And it's funny that Tyler is trapped in that bar wearing that red dress and pumps and all that makeup!
But I'm really worried about Marious, leaving the nuns in the mission to go look for Teresa. Oh, I hope Marious is safe! I hope he doesn't hit any power cables as he wades through the streets or gets buried under a wall like Felicity and Emile! Everyone in Crown Heights depends on Marious! He really is the heart of the town, reminding everyone to keep faith and be their best! I wish I could call him up or go see him in Crown Heights especially now that things are a drag at work. I would love to have Marious reassure me to keep believing and I know that if I got in trouble he would wade through the streets and the campus trying to find me because he loves people so much. Why can't there be more people like him?
I didn't get a response back from CBS or NBC. ABC just said thanks for your letter and the Fox network said they would consider picking up ASTS's options. That's encouraging! I am also writing to the President of the Living channel and the Lifestyle network. Write to them too! Tell them why they should start showing ASTS!
Well, I can't believe it. I just can't believe it. ASTS has had some amazing scenes this week and last week. It was mean of Graham to hit Kyle over the head and tie him up again, after Kyle swam up to the window and forced it out of its frame and nearly got all the way through it but his hips were too big. Too bad Marious didn't see him as he waded by cause he was so busy shouting for Teresa. And I'm on the edge of my sofa to see if Wystan is going to force Cressida and Quinton into that helicopter so they will leave with him for Uruguay. I'm sure that Felicity hasn't been killed by that beam falling on her head - and I'm not mean enough to wish she has been squashed so Emile and Adrianne can get back together! And I'm happy that Morgan found Ramond trapped in the ruins of his house and she rushed in with an axe to save him. That shows the power of true love.
I am just so outraged. How can ASTS do this to one of their best characters Marious has been a monk ever since his mother died of cancer and he swore he would continue her memory by entering the monastery! He took his vows at 18 and he's been true to them ever since! He's dedicated his whole life to helping people! If it wasn't bad enough that he left the mission and the nuns SHAKING in the eye of the hurricane to run through the streets looking for Teresa, he had to find her! Why did Smoky Joe's have to collaspe around them? And then Marious confesses his love for her?! And if that wasn't bad enough, breaking his vows like that, TERESA KISSES HIM and HE KISSES BACK!!! I couldn't believe it as she slid his robes off his shoulders and they rolled over on the rubble! It was DISGUSTING! I didn't buy a word she said as she kept telling him they were going to die and she wanted to love him before it was all over! AND HE LET HER! All the romantic music they were playing as they kissed didn't make it okay, or her saying that he showed her what it was like to be good. Is she KIDDING??!! She's a married woman! I know she doesn't remember that, but that's no excuse! She made Marious commit adultery!
I am so disgusted. I couldn't watch and I kept my hands over my eyes. I almost wrote ASTS a nasty letter but then I remembered that if I did it was sure to get cancelled.
This is a blip. Okay I can understand it with everybody under a lot of stress from the hurricane and the tidal wave and the cancellation, but really. This is not the way I want to see Marious. Gross. HE IS A GOOD GUY. I hope he sees how mistaken he's been right away and goes back to the monastery and comes back soon his normal self.
I tried sending an e mail to the president of Channel 5 in England but it bounced back. But I'm not going to give up! Yes it looks sad but I am sure we can get what we want for Christmas if we try to show everyone how much we LOVE ASTS. Keep sending letters to the Fox network and CBS and NBC and ABC. I'm going to try writing to Oprah too.
How could anyone let such a show die? I finally got to watch in the cafeteria again since all the students have gone home for Christmas. It's so nice to see everything on a huge screen. And I didn't want to miss a minute! I was so concerned for Troy I nearly choked on my turkey sandwich. The vision he had in heaven of Cressida being in trouble would move anyone, I am sure. I was so happy that he snapped out of his coma and ran down to the harbour and pulled Cressida and Quinton out of the helicopter just in time. I don't know if Wystan is going to survive his fall from the helicopter when Troy punched him and then pulled up the helicopter so it wouldn't crash into Rules. I'm not sure I want Wystan to. I know he loves his daughter but he was trying to separate her and her child from her husband. Anyway, I am just so happy to see Troy and Cressida and Quinton reunited. Wystan's right when he says family is everything.
And speaking of family, we found out that Annabel really is Kyle's family but she's not his daughter but Graham's! I wondered all along how come the paternity test turned out positive cause I was sure that Kyle wouldn't sleep with anyone but Elise, even if he met Raeleen a year before he met Elise at the Chronicle. Raeleen's story about him passing out in her dorm room at college sounded fishy from the beginning. So now we know too that Annabel isn't seven but six. I thought she was tall for her age. I'm really sad that River was just about to find out who "Kyle" really was when Graham drowned him in the puddle. River did so much to find Corale's killer it's not fair that he should be murdered too. But I guess Corale and River are together now.
I am relieved too that Marious is all right and the firemen got him and Teresa out of what's left of Smokey Joe's. Poor Marious feels terrible, especially after Teresa disappeared in the hospital.
But I hope to God he doesn't go looking for Teresa, since Graham and Raeleen have Elise tied up and they're saying they're going to kill her and Kyle and see to it that Annabel gets all of Kyle's money since she's his daughter! And they have Felicity and Emile locked in the closet! Poor Emile -- he was so surprised that when Felicity woke up in the hospital after the beam hit her she remembered everything and remembered that Graham kidnapped her those three years everyone thought she was dead! Emile's still so confused but he ran to get Graham just to protect Elise, the gentleman that he is! If Graham gets Adrianne too it would be awful, since she and Bryon barely escaped the hurricane and Rules' nearly getting hit by the helicopter!
Oh, I hope that Graham doesn't get Marious! I can't be mad at ASTS for long. He is so stricken about the sin he has committed and he doesn't know Teresa is a married woman ( she should have remembered!). He just wants to protect her from harming herself or getting wounded in a ruin somewhere. He has slipped but he is such a good person. And good looking too. I pray that he will be safe!
