The Money Pit
As many of you know, we are the proud owners of The Money Pit, AKA Oakdene Lodge based in Welton-Le-Marsh, Lincolnshire. Bought in September 2002 with hornets, damp walls and no gates, and let out through country holidays from April 2003 onwards, it has provided us with many memorable moments, good and bad...

Completely forgetting it was Dave's parents wedding anniversary, we enlisted Les's aid to help us load the 7.5 ton truck with our amassed bootsale toot. So, not to be beaten, The FlyMaster went up there again with nothing more than a teatowel, and a couple of cans of Raid. Initally there was little movement, until he started spraying at which point they all decided to launch a joint attack on him, swarming around him in a fly full whirlwind. It was soon clear the Raid was not going to be enough, as he emerged from the loft door muttering 'we're going to need a bigger boat..."
