We have only recently been owned by ferrets and we've found that they're mischeivious, fun, adorable, if not a bit whiffy, creatures.

Once they're awake, and they do sleep alot, they love to play just like kittens - bouncing and chasing and wrestling each other and with you.

You can take them for walks on their harness and leash, but watch out they're always ready for mischief.

When excited they chatter and laugh, jump and play - this is called the Ferret War Dance.

Our ferrets are only young kids and should have a long life of up to 11 years. Willow is a sable polecat spayed female and Merlin is an albino castrated male.

Willow is always up for mischief and fun, whilst Merlin likes a tummy tickle.

Don't believe it!

Just between you and me, Merlin isn't quite so bright as Willow, but he's soo cuddly and looks like a minature polar bear.

UPDATE
Willow and Merlin were our first ferrets. Merlin has a very special place in our hearts. He was so gentle and sweet and always gave kisses. In the mornings, he liked to have his back scratched and would lick you in return. He knew all of Willows games. He passed away in March 2002 due to back injury which left him paralysed. He is missed greatly.
