No. 1 Well...it had to be me, err, us!!
...meaning my husband too. Well, we do look after them and pander to their every need. Infact, they've got us really well trained. The amount of care, attention, love and husbandery a ferret owner gives equates to the happiness of their charges. We believe they love us - shown in the amount of poo they leave us and wet ferret kisses, or in Tsuki's case how hard she nips us.

FERRETONE
Ferretone is an oil based vitamin supplement specifically for ferrets. Ferrets will literally beg, borrow or steal to get their lips around this stuff. Useful for maintaining a healthy coat, but much more useful for bribing your ferret to do just about thing and then some more...

FERRETVITE
Ferretvite is a molasses based vitamin supplement. Meant for convalescing animals in order to put weight and give them vitamins and minerals that they might be missing. Useful as a tonic if your ferret looks under the weather, but more useful as an occasional treat and once again to bribe your ferret to do your bidding!

OLD JEANS
Our ferrets favourite toy is an old pair of jeans. They love these laid on the floor for them to run, chase and play in. Cut a slit at knee level and ferrets will have more fun.

TUBES & TUNNELS
Ferrets only doing what comes natural. They love to run through and chase each other through tubes. Watch their tail wag as they think they've almost caught their friend in a tube.

HAMMOCKS
Ferrets instinctively know that hammocks are for lounging in. If you want happy ferrets then a hammock or two are indeed an essential.

WALKIES
I can't really say harness and lead as most ferrets detest having these contraption put on. However, many ferrets will enjoy having a sniff around the garden and you are safe in the knowledge that your fuzzy isn't going to wander off or get stuck under the shed.

CHEWY THINGS
Not all ferrets have the urge to chew, but some love chewy things. Tilbury loves his kong and will carry it place to place and is quite possessive of it. You can also try dog dental chew - Bailey likes these, but as they're made mostly from corn, they were pretty unpleasant when they came out of the other end! In the UK you can now get hold of Cheweasels which are safe to be digested for ferrets. Tsuki also likes to take her agression out on a kong.
