Most of what I do is covered by various types of non-disclosure agreement, so I can’t discuss it here. However, there are some pieces of my approach to the job of project and programme management that people keep asking me to explain; so I assume that these lessons learned have some worth in and of themselves.
- The Four Questions I always ask on taking over a new project. The more of them we can answer, the less risk the project has. Possibly original!
- The Iron Triangle. You can’t have it all, so you need to choose what you’ll get. This one isn’t terribly original, but it’s very useful.
- Slack's Laws of Information Technology.
