Bugman's Best Blood Bowl Bonanza 2503
Josef Bugman has long been an avid Blood Bowl fan, and since
2498 he has been sponsoring his own tournament, Bugman's Best Blood Bowl
Bonanza. The name of Bugman's Best is famous throughout the Old World for
being a high quality, strong Dwarvish ale, and now the brand is becoming
synonymous with the first tournament of the Blood Bowl season. Previous
winners include the famous Iron Slaughter, who went on to win the
Dungeonbowl and competed strongly at this year's Blood Bowl Tournament in
Lenton, at one stage rating fifth in the tournament.
This year's winners, Ulthuan Athletic, were rather
bemused by the barrel of Dwarven ale they were awarded at the end of the
game. They had been expecting the finest champagne on offer to celebrate
their win. Nevertheless, they tucked in with aplomb, but Josef Bugman became
a broken Dwarf when he saw them adding lemonade to the brew: "Shandy," he
was heard to say, open mouthed. "My tournament was won by a bunch of soft
bloody southern shandy-drinking nonces!"
