Welwyn Track Taster Session
On Saturday 13th June, the club is planning to organise a FREE taster session for any club members who fancy a go on the track at Gosling Park, Welwyn. As a qualified track coach, Barry Gilzean will be there to provide some training. Track bikes can be hired for £3 for the day and if enough people come, there may be the opportunity to partake in some fun track events such as individual or block pursuits, individual sprints, devil takes the hindmost etc. It could even revitalise the Club Track Championship prize at the end of the year. Track Sessions
Welwyn Track is still available most mornings of the week for training. Anybody can use it and on your own if you wish. It costs £5.00 for as long as you like providing it is not already booked. It is best to phone the day before to check availability on 01707 331056.
John Lee is often seen there training on Wednesday morning or afternoon to get some speed into his legs. Anyone is welcome to join him. The more who do, the cheaper it becomes.
