There is a new type Referee's Course available to personnel with some knowledge of the game.

It consist of a fee of £25 and an attendance on a one day course. The participants would receive the rule book and scorers hand book a month before the course date so that self study can be made. The one day course will consist of going over any questions raised from the self study, doing a simulated scorers session. and 3 hours practice refereeing on court. Followed by an examination paper.

All successful candidates will get a qualification of EVA grade 4 with a chance of further advancements as required. I can set this up quickly on the basis of a minimum of 18 candidates.

As there is a requirement for a qualified referee at each game within the rules, this could help your team to achieve this. It will also help increase the standard of refereeing across the PVA league.

The course will be organised by Kenneth George who is an EVA National Referee and EVA Referee Assessor / Tutor.
