Located in South West France in the Midi Pyrennes region, Les Costes is a traditional stone "Aveyronaisse" style cottage, set on the side of a secluded, valley in seven acres of woodland in the heart of the Aveyron department. The setting provides both peace and tranquillity but it is only 3 kilometres from the amenities of the nearest village.

The pretty, blue shuttered cottage has been lovingly renovated and provides cosy family gite accommodation all year round for up to 6 people.Les Costes is set on a sunny dry-stone walled terrace surrounded by lawns and patio areas. Pathways meander up to the top terraces through oak, chestnut trees and wildflowers, whilst stone steps lead down to the lower terrace and the 8 metre by 4 metre private swimming pool.


The house has been fully restored with traditional exposed oak beams and stone walls. The accommodation provides a spacious lounge, with cast iron log burner, dinning area with a fully equipped kitchen leading out on to the oak Aveyron style balcony. The house has three floors. The top floor has two double bedrooms with two single beds in each. The ground floor comprising of a double bedroom with king-size bed and patio doors leading out on to the terrace for the ideal breakfast setting and a large terracotta tiled bathroom fitted with bath, shower and washing machine.The thick stone walls and double glazed windows ensure that the house provides a welcoming cool place in the heat of summer and heats up well when a bit chillier. As well as the log burner each room has its own storage heaters.The people who look after the house are English speaking and live nearby to provide any assistance and advice if required.
