Important Notice relating to all flying sites

All four stroke and two stroke engines must be silenced to a level acceptable to the PARCS technical committee. Failure to comply will result in the loss of these facilities for all. If in doubt please check with the club officials

The Eastern Embankment site is used for silent flight, i.e., gliding, electric flight. The Safety Officer for the Embankment is Gerald Dexter.

The site can be used every day for gliders but is not suitable I/C power flyers as there is no runway.

Frequency use must conform to the BMFA recommendations that power (this includes electric) aircraft are to be flown on ODD frequencies and silent flight on EVENS.

Flying Times

Everyday - 9am to dusk.

The field at Peakirk is for models of all disciplines, i.e. silent flight, electric flight, power, both two and four stroke engines. All powered engines must be adequately silenced. The Safety Officers for this site are Eddie Pirie, Terry Beard and Leon Redgrave. Please be aware of the restrictions on flying times.

Both the above sites are governed by the rules and regulations laid down by the Club and BMFA (British Model Flying Association) a copy of which you will receive when joining. All members must be aware of restrictions of over-flying certain areas as published.

Everyday - 10am to Dusk

Due to the erection of a grain store on this site, only experienced pilots should use Langtoft. You will need a key to access but this is limited. A list of keyholders if available from the secretary
