Peterborough Area Radio Control Society, or PARCS for short, has been in existence since 1947 and is dedicated to the sport of radio controlled model flying. We operate on three sites in Peterborough: The Eastern Embankment, Peakirk and Langtoft. Our club rooms are at The Masonic Hall, New Row, Deeping St James, Peterborough, PE6 8HA where we meet on the first Friday of every month throughout the year, except November (AGM) and December (Social) and these are held on the second Friday of the month. During the Summer months, with the light evenings, we arrange events or just fly and have a chat before refreshments. Application forms for joining can obtained from the secretary or collected at the field from the members present. Events that have been arranged will be published in the Clubs newsletter that is circulated from time to time. The Club welcomes new members of all ages and experience, running training and efficiency schemes by experienced club instructors and examiners under the guidance and control of the British Model Flying Association. |
