Spicing Up Logical Deduction Games ---------------------------------- The following idea comes from The Gamer No. 1. It can be applied to many logical deduction games (though not all). The idea is that when you ask a question you also have to give the answer as if you had been asked it. In this way you have to formulate a question which gets you information but doesn't give too much away. Eg. In mastermind you would both use a set and take it in turns to make a guess at your opponent's combination. However, whenever you make a guess as well as your opponent marking your guess w.r.t. their code, you also have to mark your guess w.r.t. your code! Other games this could be applied to include: Jotto / Word Mastermind Black Box Guess Who (multiple people, see the house rules I use for this) Zone X Battleships Hangman (!) and many more
