Purchased in 1988, this was my brothers everyday car while he was a student here in England. This car has an overdrive gearbox and has been mildly tuned with a tubular exhaust manifold, 'TriumphTune' GT exhaust system, K&N air filters and modified twin HS4 SU carburettors.
'Spitty' (as my brother still affectionately calls it) is a great little car that's taken us all over Britain and Europe, as can be seen from the photo taken while it was being thrashed around the Nurburgring in Germany!

It hasn't needed too much work (yet?) although both sills have been replaced as can be seen below. The bonnet has also been replaced with a rust free example from a scrapped black MkIV. I never got around to respraying this bonnet to match the rest of the car as it doesn't look too bad! To try and protect the car from the worst of the British weather, it's currently only used during in the summer!
