Roadster.jpg (16226 bytes)

Ibanez Roadster - I like it because it's plain- no scratchplate, active and looks basically like a Precision with an extra fret- but I think it's better! Works for me (Yes, I know all about Ibanez pickups... but it's still good!) Phil Lynott had a guitar like this- but his had a scratchplate.

Squier 51 - has a Stratocaster body, a Telecaster Neck and lookalike hardware, a 1951 Precision scratchplate and a coil tapped Humbucker - and it plays like a dream as well!

Flying_V.jpg (28738 bytes)

Yes, it IS a Flying V - and a real one, it even has Made in the USA on the back (It's a 2008 issue of a 1968 version) and here's my buddy Dave K playing it

Ricky.jpg (17144 bytes)

Rickenbacker 4003 - totally different animal, also known as Tricky Ricky. You have to play this one gently.... but what a sound! Still working on all the different sounds you can get with this.

T_Bird.jpg (24717 bytes)

...and this is the other thoroughbred in the stable - this time it's an Epiphone Thunderbird IV.

Tanglewood.jpg (26150 bytes)

Tanglewood Odyssey - I know it's an Ovation copy, but the colours match my cowboy boots! The action is a bit high- which makes it good for open G tuning and a bit of copper pipe to play slide guitar.

ŠAndy Flett - 2009 (For what it's worth- although I may consider pursuing Persistent Rip-Off Merchants, so think on!)
