Blue Tit

Parus caeruleus 11.5cm

One of our most familiar garden birds, the Blue Tit is a common visitor to most british gardens. They will readily feed from bird tables, seed feeders, nut feeders and fat balls and will happily take advantage of live foods such as meal worms.

They are one of the most likely candidates to take up residence in a traditional nest box in a garden and are common in deciduous woodlands where they will nest in holes in trees.
