  • 28th Grimsby was formed by the amalgamation of both 20th and 8th Grimsby Scout Groups
  • The Groups Main meeting place was the All Saints' church hall on Heneage Rd in Grimsby but as the group
  • grew sections were also run at St Andrew's church hall in Albion St at its peak the group had 2 Beaver colonies, 2 Cub packs, 2 Scout Troops (Jutland & Vikings) and a Venture Scout Unit (Excalibur). After the closure of All Saints the sections met at Edward Heneage school and Ainslie St Scout hut.  The pictures are from that time
