Last season the Poynton under 12s team finished third in the First division which was a great result in itself but the icing on the cake was winning the Stockport Metro League Cup.
To get to the final we beat Reddish Vulcans Hurricane in the semis and then went on to play New Mills Juniors in the Cup Final which was played at the Manchester University pitches, the lads were grinning from ear to ear when they won !

Manager Ian Campbell has managed to sign a couple of new players this season, who will no doubt strengthen the team and hopefully be able to challenge the top two teams in our division Reddish Vulcans and Great Moor.
Although the new season is months away, September will arrive soon enough so make the most of your free weekends !
