The results are listed in date order across the top & alphabetical name order down the page. The times highlighted in bold are the fastest times for the day. Club or gender is not identified (or known in many cases) The 2 end columns shows the results of Steve Woodrup's informal competition. The best 3 times for any person who did 5 events is shown.
There were 15 events (2 weeks were missed at the beginning of July) 78 different people took part. There were 263 completions, 1 DNF & 1 DNS 61 people did at least 2 events (17 may be deemed to have been put off). 15 people completed at least 5 events, with Matthew Howitt completing 13 (plus the DNS) Matthew was the winner of the 3 from 5 competition with a combined total of 1:30:26 There was a maximum of 28 in one event and a minimum of 9 (a foul night that was). 8 different people recorded the fastest time and Matthew Howitt was fastest on 5 occassions.
The fastest time was 28:11 recorded by R.Alhadef on 16th July. The 30 minute barrier was broken only 7 times and never twice on the same night. The fastest nights for the mortals seem to have been 23rd july, 13th August & 20th August.
Thanks should go to Steve Woodrup for making such a long commitment to the event & the timekeeping, the results and to the excellent celebration evening we had in the Hunters Inn on Wednesday 3rd September. Hope you will all support this excellent event next year.
