![]() Britain's largest landmark sculpture The Angel of the North stands on the pit head baths site of the former Teams Colliery. Made from weathering steel, the sculpture stands 20m (65ft) overlooking the A1. Its 54m (175ft) wing span is almost as big as a jumbo jet's.
