Originally thought to have died in childbirth, it transpired that this was a rather ambiguous entry on her son's birth certificate (which was trying to say she was widowed to another husband).

  Noted events in her life were:

• Residence, 1841, Wilby, Suffolk. aged 25, 1841census

• Residence: Bedford Road, 1881, Hitchin.

Frances married Richard Copping, son of Samuel Copping and Elizabeth Whitmore, in Jun 1839. (Richard Copping was born in 1808 in Brundish, died in 1861 and was buried on 19 Mar 1861 in Brome, St Mary, Suffolk.)

Frances next married George Motts in 1834 in Fressingfield. (George Motts was buried on 8 Mar 1836 in Fressingfield.)
