In son Thomas' marriage, his father is described as deceased, although further evidence from Roger White shows this almost certainly isnt true. It can be left to speculation as to why Thomas told the priest his father was dead!

Thomas married Jane Attfield, daughter of George Attfield and Nimmy Charlton, on 9 Jan 1826 in Aldershot, Hampshire. (Jane Attfield was born in 1805 and was christened in 1819 in Aldershot, Hampshire.)

Marriage was witnessed by John Chitty and Richard Loyde.
