A ROCK band with a cult following, "The Weather Prophets" play Eva Destruction at Rico's on Monday night.
The group who came out around the same time as other cult bands like Primal Scream and The Subterraneans take to the stage between 9.30 p.m.-1 a.m., supported by Perth band "The Relations". The Prophets have two LPs under their belt.
"They are quite a big band, so it's quite a scoop for us," said one of the Eva Destruction DJs. "They really have a style of their own."

Note - The Subterraneans reference was a misprint. It should have said that the Weather Prophets had played in Greenock previoulsy at Subbies.
