BEATCLUB RECORDINGS

Beatclub Recordings is a spin off of the Beatclub nights.

Since May 2003 the Beatclub has run from the basement of Nice N Sleazys and the loft of Lava Lounge hosting the best unsigned talent Scotland has to offer. With some of our staff working as A&R scouts for London based labels, our past release record as YoYo Records and our constant search for new talent, it seemed only logical to start a new label with the Beatclub acting as our A&R wing.

In December 2003 Beatclub Recordings put together it's first compilation CD entitled "Not Just for Christmas". This FREE, 42 minute, rock n roll gem captures the best of the Beatclub 2003 and shows the wealth of talent circulating the Scottish music circuit at present.

Featuring acts such as:

Kain, The Gems, theonewhoflew, Josephine, Cooler King, The SneakAttack Tigers, The New Rhodes, M.A.S.S., Aviator Shades, The New RosyJewels, The Needles and The States

Beatclub Recordings have several releases planned for 2004. So watch this space.
