New Surgery for Old Basing

Residents are angry over the lack of consultation over the move of the local surgery. The original plans have been withdrawn with revised plans due to be submitted. We need a new surgery but it must be in the right place for all residents to access.

Concerns raised about the junction at Milkingpen Lane and Church Lane

With two give way points and blind bends within 20 feet of each other, as well as a school, this junction is dangerous. Local residents have expressed concern at the way traffic gets jammed and confused at this junction.

Labour's Pam Lonie says "I want this junction sorted out and made safer".

Residents say NO to takeaway

The proposed takeaway in Belle Vue Road has caused controversy with local residents.

We want local shops that serve the needs of local people. "I will support my community in campaigning for the right kind of shop for our community says" Labour's Pam Lonie.
