Dear Deaf Londoner

I would like to announce that I have met the new Chief Executive, Simon Wilkinson-Blake at the Area Deaf Association meeting in Birmingham on 12^th July.

As GLDA Chair, I am pleased to tell you that Simon is enthusiastic and committed to supporting the BDA as a Deaf-led membership organisation. He will bring his skills and experience in the membership and political fields in working with us and our campaign for equality. He has our support and the GLDA look forward to working with him.

Simon will be at the BDA Conference on Saturday 9^th August and he looks forward to meeting members & getting your views. I am asking all of the Deaf London Community to give him time to show he is right person for the job.
