I bought the car in 1991 with the idea of keeping indefinitely as a "Future Classic"
At the time of writing, since I have to have a "full sized" vehicle for work and have two "Classic Triumphs" (Thanks to the joys of cheap Classic car insurance and free "Historic" Road Tax) the car has covered 30,000 miles(April 2001).
This is mainly fine weather use (Like Duxford '99 - Force 7 Gales and torrential rain!) but the car is normally driven "With ENTHUSIASM" (It's a regular at Curborough!!!)

The bootlid was a secondhand one bought for the occasion and modified to carry a full sized spare for touring.

This is one of 4,004 made and was bought new by my father.
Currently 129,215 miles

Got the car back and the fan belt went on the motorway!
1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500
This is one of a 91,137 made and was bought in 1981 by myself.
Currently 77,153 miles
It was initially used as an everyday car (20,000 miles in the first year) and is now mainly used for winter use. (When the "5" is in hibernation)
The Aston Martin Zagato that I would have if money was no object!
