Epic Armageddon Ork Warbikes

Models
First I cut the Warbikes off their stands, after that I undercoated them in Chaos Black then painted them with a 50/50
mix of Tin Bitz and Brazen Brass all over. Then I painted the tires, boots and gun barrel ends in Chaos Black, various bits of metal like the gun barrels in Boltgun Metal and the light in Bleached Bone. For the riders I used a combination of Bestial Brown, Snot Green and Chaos Black to simulate different clothes. The red areas are a thin coat of Blood Red.
Base
The base is first painted with Graveyard Earth. Then I applied a coat of watered down PVA glue and then poured sand onto them. Once that had dried I applied another coat of watered down PVA to fix the sand. I also added some stones for dramatic affect. The trick is to find the right colour of sand and then get lots of it so you never run out.
