Bill left a message on the guest book on 18/10/2003 trying to make contact with a long lost friend who had moved to Manchester from Glasgow. Within a fortnight he had found his friend, as he explains below in an email sent to me (webmaster@manmates.co.uk)...!

Would anyone who left abraham moss in 1980 be interested in a reunion. As we are all coming up to the big 40 this year I thought it might be a good time to arrange something??? leavers from other years and any teachers who would be interested in a get together would also be very welcome. If anyone is interested/has ideas for dates/venues please email me ( i cant put my personal email on here for some reason, so please contact me via the friends site!) There is also a message going in the Manchester Evening News 'In touch' page this weekend for those who dont have access to the internet. Lets hope this one takes off!

Beverley Harrington(nee, Rattray)

I am trying to trace my family.We were brought up in Burnage. I have 2 sisters and 1 stepbrother. My sisters are Nadine and Karen. My stepbrother is Martin McNally. My dad was William Henry Rattray and my mother was doreen downes(of epsom ave).My stepmother is evelyn Rattray(McNally,Stirzaker). Due to family differances have lost contact. LIFE IS TOO SHORT.

10th Eccles Scout Group ( Monton Methodist) is 80 years old this year we are looking for anyone who was involved with the group in any way Beaver Cub Scout Leader or helper\parents.We are trying to arrange a reunion prior to Christmas please contact me if you are interested We have members who were involved from day one coming along why not join us Contact me for further info billlundy48@hotmail.com
