That season we won the Lancashire ameteur cup at Maine Road beating Hathershaw old boys 2-1, during the sixties North Withington dominated the Lancs and Cheshire league and won titles and cups for fun at all levels, we used to play our home games at Hough End fields , trained at Old Moat Gym, and held our meetings at the old Princess Pub on Mauldeth Road West, there are sadly 5 or 6 no longer with us but it would be great to see some of you on the site with other stories and photos of a great football club.
