Hello again Alan
Thought your members might like to look at this picture. It was taken in the
late 50s, its a picture of the Lord Clyde Pub on Chester Rd in Hulme just
on their way to a picnic to New Brighton [ apparently it was popular in them
days ] dig the old charabang . In the background is a company called Bertram
Thomas I think they used to make plastic noveltys like key rings and plastic
finger rings? I think they were called skeleton rings? As a kid about 8/9
yrs we used to wait outside because they used through out any sub standard
stuff. We thought they were great in them days. Hope this is some use to you?.
