Another Derek Francis photograph below, from 1986. Taken at the bottom
of Hall Street (now re-named Hengist Street for some reason. Where's Horsa
Street then?). Smack in the centre is Gorton
Lodge, as the road turns left into Far Lane. Sunnybrow is over the wall
on the right, while a council "dig up the road plan for congesting traffic"
is blocking off Old Hall Drive.
